As Embryology Laboratory Director for Reproductive Medicine Associates of Texas, Anderson directs the In Vitro Fertilization (IVF) laboratory operations which include:

  • oocyte (egg) retrieval
  • embryo transfer
  • cryopreservation (freezing) of embryos and oocytes
  • assisted hatching
  • intracytoplasmic sperm injection (ICSI)
  • pre-implantation genetic screening/diagnosis (PGD) of embryos

Anderson completed his Masters in Clinical Embryology studies at University of Leeds, Leeds England under the direction of many pioneers of the first IVF baby Louise Brown. Anthony developed an interest in reproductive biology living on a small farm in Oklahoma. Taking these experiences and performing nuclear and embryo transfer in the bovine industry. Later taking his experience to human IVF as the Senior Embryologist with IVF America in New Jersey and then to Charlotte in 1994. During his career Anthony:

  • Achieved delivery rates exceeding 56% and triplet rates less than 1% in the top program for Integramed Partner programs.

In addition to his clinical responsibilities Anthony research interests:

  • embryo metabolism
  • pre-implantation genetic screening
  • non-invasive measures of embryo viability
  • genomic and proteomic analysis of embryos
  • embryo metabolism
  • pre-implantation genetic screening and non-invasive measures of embryo viability
  • genomic and proteomic analysis of embryos.

He is a Certified Embryology Laboratory Director (ABB) who has lectured and presented at conferences nation-wide, published papers on embryonic development, cryopreservation, and genomics and received several honors and distinctions. His expertise is sought by other laboratories internationally and within the US . Anthony is happily married and is the father of two boys and one girl.
